Applications For Recycled Aggregates

We offer a variety of recycled concrete and asphalt materials designed to meet your project’s needs and specifications. Recycled aggregates provide excellent compaction, improved yield, higher R-values, and strong durability compared to virgin (quarry or pit) materials. These materials are commonly approved by State Transportation Departments for use in roadbeds and drainage projects, including CL6 road base. Recycled aggregates are also a reliable choice for landscaping, block fill, retaining walls, and a wide range of construction applications.

The Benefits Behind Recycling Concrete

CAR is a supplier that also crushes our own materials. Processing begins by starting with clean material. From crushing, to sorting and screening, it's a careful process that ensure hazardous materials are not a factor in our recycled aggregates.Apart from the clean factor & environmental benefits, there are cost-saving benefits to consider.

recycledproducts

Lower costs when purchasing recycled aggregates (versus newly mined material).

gatefees

Lower gate fees/tipping fees charged for a given quantity of waste material.

landfill

Less concrete waste/debris filling up landfills, keeping down operating costs.

weight

Lighter volume (per unit), meaning less weight & less costs for materials and hauling.

Our Mission

Our company is committed to building long-term relationships with its customers based on trust, integrity and performance excellence. Equally important, is our promise to create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for our team members and provide them the opportunity for personal growth.

Our Vision

To be the premier distributer of recycled asphalt & concrete. Our vision is constantly supported by the contributions of our team members and our ability to earn repeat business and referrals from our customers. We are driven by our passion, dedication, and our never-ending pursuit of constant improvement.

Safety

Safety is a moral obligation. Our goal is zero harm and no lost days on the job due to workplace accident or injury. The prevention of accidents and injuries always takes precedence over expedience. There is no higher priority than workplace safety.

The term "Safe Production" reflects our priority for workplace safety and the belief that the safety of our team members and efficient and effective production are complimentary rather than competing. Safe Production is a means to achieving and sustaining a positive work environment while meeting or exceeding our customer's expectations. Safe Production is not always easy. Ours is an industry in which issues and conditions arise daily that may tempt us to focus on one aspect of the business to the detriment of the other. Expediency, like complacency, can lead to decisions that prove detrimental to both team member safety and operational effectiveness. Safe Production is made easier when we work together as a team, thinking not only about ourselves and our business, but our co-workers, families, friends, and everyone else that would be impacted by a serious workplace accident or injury. Workplace safety is truly a case where an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.

The safety hazards and risks present at an aggregate crushing and recycling worksite are continuously changing and evolving. Keeping everyone safe requires a commitment to not only react to those changing conditions, but to proactively identify potential risks and actively work to eliminate or control them. This is best accomplished by creating a culture of safety in which all team members are committed to ensuring the safest workplace possible.

With decades of experience, our Safety Coordinator oversees the implementation of the company's safety program in order to integrate safety into the day-to-day activities of all team members. He looks to identify unsafe conditions and practices and determine remedies. The Safety Coordinator conducts job-site audits, inspections, safety meetings, and new employee orientations. He ensures the organization is compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations.
